Curling
Well folks, its that time of year again, its the International Curling Tournament, here in our very own Champéry.
This is the 3rd year for the World Mixed Curling Championship to be held at the Palladium, starting October 6-14, 2017. This year has even broke records for number of team entries. A big 38 teams have joined this year, including teams from Luxemburg as well as Hong Kong. Very exciting stuff!
The World Mixed Curling Championship is an open entry event, with each team consisting of 2 female and 2 male athletes.
The Lodge Champery is very proud to be housing a handful of these teams, as our Lodge is conveniently located just next to the Palladium Sports centre itself.
Play-offs start Saturday Oct 13th, so if you would like to keep up with all the action, follow the World Curling Federation @worldcurling.
