On a sun drench plateau the Crans-Montana ski resort is situated at 1,500m and surrounded by world-class skiing routes. The resort is surrounded by a total of 140 km of slopes presenting plenty of options when it comes to snow sports – all easily accessed via dedicated ski lifts. The Crans-Montana ski slopes stretch high up to the Plaine Morte Glacier, which itself sits at 3,000m above sea level. The Cry d’Er ski run sits just above Montana and offers runs down towards Crans, Montana, and Barzettes. It is serviced by a J-type lift with a great variation of runs to choose from.

Montana-Arnouva

 

ALTITUDES: 1534 m – 1722 m
RUN LENGTH: 554 m

Situated above Montana you will find the Montana-Arnouva ski run. This 554m run takes you down to the heart of Montana through a variety of slope grade (mostly blue & red).

Bellalui

 

ALTITUDES: 2168 m – 2528 m
RUN LENGTH: 1513 m

One of the highest altitude runs in the Crans-Montana area is the Bellalui ski run. Its substantial length of 1513m makes this run more suited to skiers of higher ability.

Cabane des Violettes is a beautiful restaurant located at 2,208 metres and accessible on foot or by cable car in all seasons. The restaurants menu consists of simple, traditional dishes such as fondue, rösti, pasta and salads. Meals can be enjoyed while soaking up the sun on the terrace or in front of the warm stone fireplace.

Chez Erwin

The Chez Erwin tavern is a great destination on any sunny day. This tavern can be found on the descent from Chetzeron to Crans at 1,700m. Enjoy picture-perfect views from the outdoor terrace as you browse the menu of simple but delicious Swiss inspires cuisine including soups, raclette and meat platters accompanied by a selection of fine Valais wines.
