How to Get to Evolène
Located in the Val d’Hérens region of the Canton of Valais, Evolène is easily accessible yet retains its secluded charm. The village is about 25 kilometres southeast of Sion, the cantonal capital.
From Sion, take the A9 motorway and exit at Sion-Est. Follow the signs for Val d’Hérens, passing through the villages of Euseigne, the outskirts of Hérémence and then Vex. Continue on Route d’Hérens until you reach Evolène. The journey offers scenic views of the valley and typically takes around 45 minutes.
